Every project is different. Every challenge is different. Every environment is different.
Training is great and is what most companies need to get started, improve performance and/or implement new technologies. Great training goes in depth and really covers
your common concerns. But what do you do when you have a very specific problem or complex design challenge that needs to be addressed? Consider engaging us to help you!
SQLskills has access to world-renowned consultants (MVPs, Microsoft Regional Directors and Industry Gurus) who specialize not only in
Microsoft® SQL Server® but also in .NET and application design. We have created some of the best courses
available but that might not be enough.
To complement our custom courses, we offer consulting. Our consulting is often a hybrid of traditional consulting and training. Instead of
consulting on a project for months - implementing each and every tiny detail - our remote or onsite consulting is streamlined. A consulting project is designed to meet with you,
determine your largest areas of concern, solve some of your most important priorities and then document additional steps to consider and design. At that point SQLskills
leaves... but we keep in touch and we return based on your needs - after you've implemented our recommendations and we work to help solve your next challenge.
SQLskills consulting is an ideal way to engage experts in that we're only onsite as long as it takes to get you on your way and we stay in touch to make sure that
things run smoothly. You save time and money and get started solving your challenges right away. Depending on how focused your needs are, we may be able to spend just a few
hours remotely helping you diagnose and fix problems.
These engagements could just entail a few hours of consulting time or a few days onsite with you.
We're also able to provide analysis of database designs, indexing strategies, database maintenance procedures, and high-availability/disaster recovery plans.
